Itinerary:

Sunday, September 23, 2012

8:00 am - Kit pickup begins

9:00 am - 1k family walk/run start time

9:30 am - 10k run start time

9:35 am - 5k run & 5K walk start time

Race day registration is from 8:00am - 8:45am.  Participants who register the day of the event will be charged a $5.00 surcharge on top of the regular race fees.

The race will start at the Walkerton Community Centre

Race Categories:

The 5k and 10k races will be broken down into these categories: 0-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+

Chip Timing:

The 5k and 10k runs will be timed using a chip timer.  Results will be posted shortly after the race.

Awards:

The top three male and female finishers in each category of the 5k and 10k will receive a medal. Awards will be handed out when the final participant crosses the finish line, likely beginning around 11:30am.

Charitable Tax Receipts:

Tax receipts will be issued in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines for all donations of $20 or more and for any pledges collected. The registration fee itself is not considered a charitable donation.

We are an accredited race under the Ontario Roadrunners Assocation
